Finding the perfect gift for a book lover can be challenging. Here are our suggestions for great bookish gifts.
Are you shopping for the bookworm in your life? Of course, you can always buy them a book or a gift card to a bookstore (as someone who loves books, I can assure you that it will be appreciated!), but sometimes you want to buy them something just a little different that they will still love as much as a book!
I love books, so putting this list together is a bit of a wish list (hint, hint to anyone who knows me!)
Whether you’re looking for the perfect gift for a book lover who has everything or you’re just on a tight budget, these clever and unique gifts are sure to delight even the pickiest bookworm.

Once Upon a Time Book Club
This makes the top of the list, and I cannot recommend it strongly enough. I was lucky enough to get a box, and opening it was a book lover’s dream. Not only does it come with a book (which is a perfect gift already), but each gift makes it a perfect, fun experience to make reading even better than it already is (impossible, right?) If you love a book lover, then you MUST get them this as a gift.
Book Clubbers receive a newly released novel and wrapped gifts labeled with page numbers. As they read the featured book, they’re prompted only to open the gifts when they reach the specified page number. Boxes are curated by women, and the majority are sourced with female readers in mind, mainly featuring strong female characters.
Amazon Kindle Paperwhite
For any voracious reader, a Kindle is a must-have! I love my Kindle because I can take a whole stack of books with me wherever I go without having to worry about space or having to lug books around with me. It’s light and fits into your pocketbook, so you are never without a book.
You can download books easily from Amazon or even check them out of the library for free whenever you want. A Kindle is almost a necessity for any bibliophile. The Kindle Paperwhite is easy on the eyes (much better than reading on a phone or a tablet) and easily adjustable font size for easy reading.
Kindle Unlimited Subscription
You can always get books for free from the library with your library card (even on your Kindle), but voracious readers will appreciate a subscription to Kindle Unlimited. The subscription, through Amazon, gives readers access to over 2 million digital titles, including new releases, and access to audiobooks and magazines. I have found Kindle Unlimited to have more options than the local library, and you don’t need to wait for the titles you want. Give your loved one a gift of millions of books all at once!
