Recently someone asked, “What’s your favourite show at the moment on Netflix?”

Here are some of the top responses with some of my own picks as well!

Lockwood and Co

Netlix’s newest Young Adult thriller is Lockwood and Co, based on the books of the same name.

In a world plagued by ghosts, where giant corporations employ psychic teens to battle the supernatural, only one company operates without adult supervision. Its name is Lockwood & Co. Run by Anthony Lockwood, a rebellious young entrepreneur haunted by his mysterious past, his brilliant but eccentric sidekick George and a newly arrived, supremely gifted girl called Lucy, this renegade trio is about to unravel a terrifying mystery that will change the course of history.

Someone responded to the question, “Being an automotive industry/motorsports guy, I’ve always casually paid attention to F1 but never sat down and watched a race. I’ve just loved the engine and suspension tech, especially recently with the addition of electric hybrid systems. This show has me hooked. What goes into these races is incredible.”

Cunk on Earth

This mockumentary gained a cult following in the few weeks after its release.

“I need more Cunk. If only they made another one like… I don’t know, “Cunk on Britain” or something,” someone complained.

Trailer Park Boys

This wickedly funny mockumentary series follows the booze-fueled misadventures of Julian, Ricky, and Bubbles, longtime pals, and petty serial criminals who run scams from their Nova Scotia trailer park — when they aren’t in jail, that is.

Mindhunter

Unfortunately, there will not be a third season of this show, so beware before watching,

One person said, “Would love it if Fincher would just hand it over to someone else at this point since the tone, setting, and style is quite set after two seasons. Biased as a Dane, but I think Tobias Lindholm could handle the task of showrunner and give us a great third season. He did a few of the episodes and has a history of blending fact and fiction together on film.”

Someone replied, “Yes, I love this show! It doesn’t get the recognition it deserves. Can’t wait for the movie, but also, I will be sad that it’s over.”
