How To Get Free Baby Stuff: Free Baby Samples & More

Babies can be expensive, and free baby stuff, like free baby samples and coupons, can help make it a little cheaper!

I am the typical frugal mom, which means I constantly look for ways to get free stuff, free samples, and coupons to help me save money on everything!

As a mom, I know that having a baby is expensive, and you need so much stuff! The list can be endless, from baby gear to diapers, toys, baby clothes, books for the baby, toiletries and nursing gear, and parenting books for you!

Nothing makes me happier than helping people get free stuff! Raising a baby can be expensive, and I firmly believe that the more free things you get, the better off you are. So here are some of the ways you can get some free baby stuff and free baby items.

Downsides To Free Baby Stuff

Many of the free items you can receive from companies and programs come with a “price tag.” This is because you give your personal information to companies who can do it as they wish. I, personally, am ok with that, but you should be aware of that before signing up for these free samples and free baby stuff.

If you are more cautious about your personal information, consider opening a new email address specifically for signing up for freebies and samples. You can also slightly change your kids’ names and birthdates to protect your info further.

Getting Free Baby Samples That I Don’t Need

There are many times when I get freebies and samples that I honestly have no use for. When this happens, I either unsubscribe from the programs or take the items and pass them along to others. You can give them to neighbors, post on Buy Nothing Groups, donate to Little Free Libraries or Pantries, or give them to a food bank or shelter.

Everything on this list is FREE! I didn’t include any “pay a lot of money for shipping and handling fee” type deals or baby subscription boxes you have to pay for. Just go on through the list and sign up for whatever you want (I signed up for all of them!)

Free Baby Products When You Create a Registry

Whether or not you have a baby shower, creating a baby registry is the way to go! It’s a convenient place to make a wishlist for your baby and, hopefully, get some gifts out of it, too! If anyone asks what you want, send them right to the registry!

Most registries offer a Completion Discount, so anything you have on the registry, you can buy at a discount after your due date, so don’t skimp on adding things to the registry!

But the main reason to sign up for a registry is the Gift Bag or Baby Registry Free Gift! Although items vary and change from time to time, the registry gift bags and boxes are usually good for a few full-size products and more than a few samples and coupons for free baby products.  Set up all the registries today! Go and create a baby registry!

Every gift box varies from season to season, but some of the items that people have reported getting are diaper rash cream, pacifiers, baby diapers, free baby clothes (like an undershirt), muslin swaddle blanket, diapers, wipes, shampoo, and coupons for full-size items.

Hi! I am a millennial mom with a passion for personal finance. I have always been “into” personal finance but got inspired to start my blog after a period of extended unemployment. That experience really changed the way I viewed my relationship with money and the importance of accessible personal finance education.
