A spaceship that housed the entirety of humanity sends 100 juvenile delinquents to discover if Earth is safe to live on. The series follows the first 100 as they find what is left of Earth and learn to live on it again. The series has seven seasons.
Outlander
Bring on the heat! The series is perfect for an at-home date night, and it has it all- action, romance, and a great story. The historical fiction series is based on the books by Diana Gabaldon and follows the main character, Claire, as she travels back in time to the 1600s in Scotland. The later seasons even end up with the main characters traveling to the United States and settling in the mountains of North Carolina close to the time of the Revolutionary War! The viewer is warned that there are some rather steamy scenes. It’s perfect for a truly romantic date night!
Friday Night Lights
Fall nights and Football can’t get any better for an at-home date night! The nonfiction book by H.G. Bissinger inspired the TV series and follows the rise of a high school football team in Odessa, Texas. The series delves into the story of the coach and his family, as well as many of the lives of the star players on the team.
My Love- 6 Stories of True Love
This docuseries on Netflix follows the stories of 6 older couples who live in different parts of the world. The couples share their decades-long love over the course of the docuseries. It’s a sweet and inspirational look at love as it ages.
