There have been countless times where I’ve found myself just looking through shows, not actually watching anything. Unfortunately, they’ve discontinued this great feature, which means, once again, you have to rely on your own intuition (or helpful lists) to find your next show. Thankfully we’ve found some great options to binge-watch so you don’t have to.

I can honestly say that as someone who watched The Good Place as it aired that it’s an ideal show to binge-watch. I’m low key jealous that you won’t have to wait between season finale cliffhangers, but I’m still going to agree with this suggestion and urge you to check it out.

As someone currently binge-watching this series myself, I wholeheartedly agree with this comment. It’s not really the type of show that has you on the edge of your seat but if you need some downtime and want a laugh, it’s definitely binge-worthy.

The Queen’s Gambit

Since this one released all at once most of us binge-watched The Queen’s Gambit when it first came out. If you happened to miss this miniseries, though, definitely add it to your next marathon streaming session. You won’t be disappointed!

I’m not ashamed to admit I binged watched every season of this show when it came out. Even though most of the plotlines feel relatively mundane and superficial (mostly centred around high society and dating/marriage) there’s something about Bridgerton that makes you hit “play next episode” again and again.

Speaking of Netflix-made shows with female leads, Grace and Frankie is another series that fans have called the best show to binge-watch on Netflix right now. While it is essentially a sitcom, Grace and Frankie’s plot and drama are interesting enough that you don’t feel satisfied watching just one episode at a time.

Dark

This one came up a few times too, although some fans disagreed that it’s binge-worthy. Not because Dark isn’t good – but because it’s so intense you may want to break it up.

Trailer Park Boys

I’m both shocked and thrilled that this show is as timeless as it is. Set in Nova Scotia, Canada, it stars… Well, a bunch of guys who live in a trailer park. Let’s just say they’re not always great people, but their hilarious antics are worth marathon-watching next time you need a laugh.

Black Mirror

This is another one that was controversial, again, because you need time to think about each episode after you’ve taken it in. If you’re thinking about binge-watching Black Mirror I’d suggest doing it a little slower, maybe a one episode a day kind of thing.

Each episode is self-contained so there isn’t really a cliffhanger to draw you into the next episode. How quickly you burn through Black Mirror will depend on how much you enjoy it.

Wentworth

All eight seasons of Wentworth are on Netflix, so that should keep you busy for a while. If you enjoy prison dramas, you’ll appreciate the harsh reality of Wentworth; it’s set in a female prison that houses some of the most hardcore criminals.
