The Earthshot Prize, a global environmental prize founded by Prince William and The Royal Foundation in 2020, aims to spotlight, support and scale groundbreaking solutions to our world’s most pressing environmental challenges.

Kate Middleton wore a floor-length bright green gown by Solace London. The bright-green gown was the color of the commonly used green screen, and the Internet had a field day with it!

Users photoshopped various images into her green gown, which seems to be the perfect shade for hilarious photoshop moments.

The Internet Reacts

Here are some of our favorites!

I actually think it’s pretty cool that Kate Middleton wore a white and gold dress to the Earthshot Prize Ceremony.”

“For Your Consideration”

“This outfit choice simply highlights that her stylist doesn’t understand the internet

so i heard kate middleton looked stunning in her green dress”

I’M WHEEZING “

“Never gonna give this dress up”

Some Twitter users speculated the dress was a deliberate attempt to steer the conversation from Harry and Meghan’s Netlfix documentary. The trailer for the documentary was released on Thursday, seemingly directly reacting to William and Kate’s tour. It certainly made Kate appear on Twitter a lot more than would have been expected for a ceremony.
