Her Husband Was Caught Off-Guard
She cited irreconcilable differences as the cause of her marital issues. Perhaps the person who was caught off-guard was her husband, Jayson because he did not take the news well.
While speaking to the Daily Beast Jayson said, “I did not know what I was being served for or if it was some crazy left-wing person coming to my house again.
I was not drinking, and I was not cleaning any gun. The divorce is sad; I did not expect this, I love her with every bit of my heart, she has been my soul mate, and she is the mother of my Children.
We have been through a lot together, and I just want her to be happy. So it’s whatever she wants.”
20 Years of Marriage
The divorce marks the end of 20 years of marriage that saw her bore 4 boys aged between 10 and 17. The 17-year-old son announced that his girlfriend was pregnant recently, making the 2nd term congresswoman for Colorado’s third congressional district a grandmother at 36.
