Some frugal activities are just not worth the hype.

A Reddit user posted this question on the platform, seeking to know what activities people thought were frugal but were not willing to do.

He gave the example of a tiny bit of bar soap. He could not use such, but he would squeeze the toothpaste tube until nothing came out.

One user is determined not to follow in their parent’s footsteps, “My parents buy the cheapest coffee in the store and reuse their grounds. (5 scoops in the first pot; throw another 3 on top for the second pot.) I buy GREAT beans and toss them after one use. I’ll be frugal in other ways, but not coffee.”
