If you have another safe place to go, consider sprucing up your place a bit and renting it out on Airbnb. Suppose you charge $100 a night or $300 a weekend; you will see that money soon.

You can set your own hours and take the jobs that work for you. It’s a great way to make extra bucks at night, during breaks, or on the weekends.
3 Slower Ways To Make 300 Dollars
If you need money but don’t need it as quickly, there are slower ways to make some extra money on the side.
1. Build up a Side Hustle
Building a side hustle takes a lot of upfront work that will hopefully pay off a bit. However, it is not a quick way to get extra cash. If you are looking for a good side hustle to start, you can check out these ideas.
2. Get Cashback
Sign up for cash-back websites like Swagbucks, Ibotta, Rakuten, and TopCashback. Getting cashback is a great way to save and make some money on purchases you are already making.
I admit- this won’t get you tons of real money quickly, but you can get a little bit of cash back on purchases you are already making- when you are in desperate need of money, then every single bit counts! I am a firm believer in always having a little extra cash!
3. Do All the Surveys
Taking paid surveys is another way to make a bit of extra cash. Again, this won’t make you the big bucks, but if you need money desperately, then you can take some surveys when you have nothing else to do- on the bus, waiting in line, and during any other downtime. Online focus groups often pay a lot of money, and if you qualify for an in-person survey, you can make $300 or $200 in just a few hours! No Gift Cards
An important point about doing surveys for money: make sure that your preferred survey site pays in money and not in free gift cards (although those are great!) if you want the hard cash in your pocket. In my opinion that is the best way to make money!
